yeast cell cycle flow cytometry notes

MMS 0.035% vol/vol in YPD plates
HU in 0.2M in YPD
Flow cytometry: cells fixed in 70% ethanol, resuspend in 0.5ml of 0.1 mg/ml RNase A in 50mM sodium citrate, incubated at 30C O/N. Cell were stained with 2 uM SYTOX gree (Molecular Probes) in 50mM citrate.
