interview questions
The interviewer will likely follow a rubric of questions. Some potential questions may be based on your CV, experiences, the position that you are applying for. Questions may include why do you apply to this position, what contributions can you make to our school/departments, what courses that you will be capable of teaching, what research projects that you will focus on, how will you engage undergraduates in your research, how would you offer online courses, how would you balance research and teaching, how would address students with different backgrounds in a course.
In short, you need to study the school and position they are offering. You need to prepare questions to ask them too, like how many courses would you be required to teach, what are the criteria for tenure evaluation and annual evaluation, what are the typical student pool at the school, what is the department’s future plan in the next five years,
Q to ask
how soon should I hear back from you?
