Karin, Uri Alon, Senescent cell turnover slows with age -> Gompertz law

Karin19 Nat Communication used a threshold Xc of senescent cell to model death.

In this saturation-removal (SR) model, X is the Senescent Cell (SnC) population. $\beta$ is the removal rate, $\eta$ is the constant self-decay rate, and $\keppa$ is the mid-point saturation point of SnC, and the last term is the noise.  Its seems to me that if we replace X with S, we might be able to approximate the Gompertz form.
