How to write lab notes

Key elements:
Date
Title of experiments
Names of all members
Aims,
Materials, methods and procedures, such as sequences of primers.
Results and analysis, such as pictures of gels, plate, colony counts, etc. Lanes in gels should be labeled.
Summary/Conclusions
